Never Underestimate the Abilities of an 8 Year Old

I decided to best serve my interests at the 5/6 level, my 2nd graders need a solid foundation on basic apps. Then, after they spend a year & a half building keyboarding skills at 3rd & 4th grade, they should still have a good foundation for basic skills & cross platforming. So...
They made trifold brochures using bulleted & numbered spelling lists. And then taught themselves & each other Power Point. They get to start a research project next.

All in a Days' Work...

So today I...
-created a digital worksheet & posted it on Edmodo for my 6th  graders to complete next week after they turn in their Power Points on safe info sharing.
-introduced 6th LA teachers to Flocabulary.
-introduced 6th LA teachers to interactive story elements resources online
-took another 4th grade onto their own personal accounts for the first time.
-taught a second grade class how to change page orientation, set up columns & create column breaks & create bulleted/numbered lists.
- taught K class how to click & drag.
-taught 1st class how to click & drag.
-planned out the next month of Internet safety lessons for 5th & 6th grade.
-created & posted a Voci for my 6th graders.

I love my job!
