I think that the biggest problem is not  too much technology, but teachers pressured to quickly implement new educational uses of technology. They aren't trained enough to feel comfortable integrating technology at this level, yet they are forced to use it for everything. If schools would offer the professional development for teachers and gradually ease them into use and require the use so that teachers retain what they have learned, I think many teachers would be more willing, after a time, to fully (or almost fully) integrate everything they do. They have not been trained to do this, and for most using technology at this level is completely outside their comfort zone, both as a teacher and technology user.
