One of my favorite projects is my 3rd grade lemonade stand project. They play the game straight up & record their data. Then they tweak one aspect and play, then do a third round with a different thing changed. . After recording their data in an Excel spreadsheet, they graph it, analyze the results and write a summary of their findings. Their final round has them applying what they observed in the first three rounds to make as much money as they possibly can. Students have an authentic "hands-on" experience running a business.
