Teaching with Technology

I've been back in the classroom this week, doing a variety of things. One is a lesson on main idea using Twitter that I lifted off Smekens idea bank. The rest are activities using our new tablets. Rough road that it is, we still had enough success today to remind me why I love this job. Watching the looks on the faces of the kids & teacher when they are able to use technology in the classroom rather than paper & pencil is awesome! I introduced a couple of classes to wordle today. Java issues aside, I think the kids are hooked. I get to go back into the same room to work on character trait Prezi's Thursday. This is one of my favorite lessons...CAN'T WAIT!!
